Why Fiberglass Maintenance?

1. Maintaining your Fiberglass top coating or (Gel-coating), will prolong the life of your deck & roof. Any open seams, cracks, or nail pops will allow water to penetrate the hard surface and start to delaminate the plywood underneath.
2. After several years your Fiberglass surface will fade and become dull & have a chalky feel or texture to it, making your deck surface slippery when wet. With your new coating, we will mix in a manmade granular product for increased traction on deck surfaces.
3. Roof surfaces, usually unseen, will start to deteriorate just after a few years due to the effect of UV rays, seagulls & exposure to the elements.
4. Same color? Different color? No problem! Our representative will show you color samples to choose from. Schedule your appointment now!
Experts in Fiberglass

Fiberglass decks and roofs are perfect for costal construction. When used for roofing, it provides a water-tight seal from the weather. When used as a deck surface, you get both a water-tight seal and a deck surface - both applications give you a beautiful architectural appearance and protect your investment.

A new coating or painting (gel coating) should be applied as maintenance every 5 to 8 years to protect the fiberglass from damage due to salt environments and UV rays from the sun. Keeping up with maintenance will help avoid costly complete replacements.

We remove the old coating and make repairs to your fiberglass including nail pops, cracks and seam openings. Then we apply a new gel coating which provides an extremely durable, high-quality finish - renewing surface integrity.

Fiberglass has proven to be an outstanding construction material in deck & roof applications; however, it does need to be maintained.
